Bramble & Willow was founded by Emma from a love of flowers, interiors, beautiful objects and bringing people together. The studio has grown from its London roots into a floral design practice creating weddings, events and seasonal flowers across London and West Sussex.
It began, as these things often do, with a garden and a habit of noticing. Which hedgerows came into flower first. How light fell across a table late in the afternoon. The particular way a stem bends when you leave it alone.
Flowers came after a first career, and after a lot of quiet practice. What has stayed constant is the instinct behind the work: choose beautiful flowers, then interfere as little as possible.
Today the studio is small on purpose. Emma designs and leads every wedding and event personally, which means fewer projects each season and far more attention on each one.
Sustainability
Seasonal, local, and quietly careful.
We buy seasonally and locally wherever we can, which is better for the flowers as much as anything else — they last longer and they look like where they came from.
We work without floral foam, reuse vessels and mechanics between events, pack in biodegradable materials and compost what we cannot use again.
